    Default Legalization of marijuana

I used to against it so much as I think it's bad but now I might change my mind. I wouldn't smoke it myself unless for medical reason. What do you think?? The main reason that I support it is because it would be a big blow to drug dealers as they no longer can sell the product illegally. Addicts would be able to get them from stores and government can collect huge taxes for it. It should cost like $20/pack.

before commenting on the topic, i'd like to point out how faulty your argument is. if the main reason to legalize marijuana would be so the government could collect revenue from it, then why not legalize cocaine, heroin, prostitution, etc.?

Their are many reasons. Beside revenue, marijuana is not that harmful, perhap in the same level like cigarette. On the other hand cocaine, heroin, and prostitution are just too harmful.

From all the evidence I can gather. It's not addictive. And the evidence against it are inconclusive, I'm not sure on this, maybe someone can provide evidence to the contrary.

That it is less harmful than cigarettes but can act as an anti-depressant I think should be legalized.

On an episode of my favorite BBC car show, Top Gear, they featured a university run tert of drivers using cell phones, legally inpaired, and ones that had recently smoked pot. All three types failed the tests badly. It seems that pot is as bad as alcohol in terms of impairment.
