    Default Work Photos

My coworker took pictures of the Charles River (1 if by land, 2 if by sea) outside where I work.

Feel free to post your pictures.

haha, i actually work at an MNC right outside boston. the first thing you actually see when you exit the building is the big parking lot. to the right is a street, and once you cross that , you get to the river.

i actually don't like the area at all. i used to work in downtown boston and it was very convenient. i could just take the subway in, and there's restaurants and stores everywhere. now, nothing but squirrels and trees. bleh, so boring.

these pictures were from probably a week or two ago, when the trees were just starting to change color. now, most of the leaves are gone and everything looks kinda ugly. maybe when it starts majorly snowing, i'll take some winter pics.

the river looks really cool, frozen. i once saw a seagull walking on the ice slip and fall. ahhaha, so funny.

haha the 2nd photo actually looks like you're about to go hiking through some forest and find unicorns on the other end i think i've been to the charles rivers only once. *wtf*

The 2nd picture reminded me of the work place I had previously worked for. Although I've never spotted any unicorns , I saw an ancient hut that looks similar to this picture.

It is still convenient when it comes to settling of your meals. You can drink the dewdrops of the plants, and eat any animal you encounter. (I'm kidding, of course )

That seagull possesses penguin genes - clumsyness.

How is the ghost ship, dearie? Are you still climbing up and down the ships?

I kinda admire you people for that... since it's a long way up... and down...

its not all that long, doesnt even take five minutes to reach the top.

but whether you're breathless by the time you finished 'climbing' the gangway depends on your erm...stamina.

note, due to the width of gangway...you cannot simply stop in the midst to catch your breathe without blocking somebody.

though the gangway is hardly considered a 'tough climb' ~ since you're still 'on your two feet walking' i'd tried going on vertical ladders like a few 'storeys' at one shot (now thats really a 'climb')

but being on the top deck of the vessel feels really good, the sea breeze is so strong and lovely.

The scenery in the second photograph is so beautifully captured!

The way the trees are aligned such that you can see the sunlight in the horizon makes the narrow path look like the entrance to some magical, fantasy world ala Alice in Wonderland.

we do have bunnies here, but usually more inland. one time, there was a big sea turtle laying eggs. the poor baby turtles had to cross a street to get to the water.
