    Default Hit and Run

So this is a pretty bad hit and run case in which the victim was my little niece's classmate. You can read the story here. Initial report on the story was that two cars were drag racing and hit a 12yo boy at the crosswalk and left him dying. This was during traffic time when kids were leaving school. Just like any other stereotyping, most people in the city thought it was a bunch of ignorant Asian drivers racing. Surprisingly, the driver was a 17yo white chick.

There's sympathy going on right now just because she's under the legal age. Apparently, she didn't know what she hit, which is BS. I hope she's punished to the fullest. What do you think about this?

    a bullet in the head.

Killing people with reckless driving (DUI, speeding) should be punishable by death.

In fact, it's way too hard to kill convicts in the US and wasteful of taxpayer money.
What are you fighting for? Just mix them into pissing beef balls, stupid.

It'd despicable, but what more can you say? She can't hide from the law now and her attempt at a cover up just dug her a deeper hole. Now justice will do its thing.

Wow, I think she deserves the maximum that allowed by law. However, if it happens in Canada, then she will receive a much lighter sentence because she is under 18. It's like slap on the wrist.

omg, i was just watching this on the news during lunch.

this story made me so angry. she claimed she didn't realize it was a person. so if she hit a mailbox or a dog, not stopping is ok? and seriously, if a KID came flying at my windshield, i think i would notice. but she just went right on along bc she had a serious hair appointment.

and didn't her parents question her about the huge dent on the car when she got home? it's obviously damage that couldn't have happened to a parked car.

    aaaarrrrgghhh...makes me so angry!

I can understand why people can freak out and took off, but to make up stories and try to cover yourself after, then say you feel bad for the kid? Disgusting.

The end result? She will get sued and probably a small punishment and won't learn a thing about humanity while we suffer higher insurance rate because of scums like her.

When the witness told the other involved male driver to stop, he looked back and gave her the F-word...that pisses me off just thinking about it.

She does feel bad about the kid... because she knows there would be punishment. That's what she really fears. I mean, come on. Okay maybe she freaked out and so took the run. But after that? She's still lying through her teeth.

This is where vigilantes come in. I wish the poor kid was a gang banger's brother. Justice will be served then.

This is so tragic and thanks for sharing. I was so sad and upset after reading the story. I can't believe that people still drag race and put so many innocent people's lives in danger. I get so upset when our system goes easy on a criminal just because they are underage. I really hope that that girl gets trialed as an adult and gets punished to the full extent of the law....
Respect other people's opinions and views. If we learn how to do that than all of these fights and arguments will not occur.

This shameless broad is not only stupid but doesn't know how to put her lies together. She claimed that she was dropping off an application for school at UMASS Lowell and that she was late to a hair dresser appointment. This is a total lie as I live next to the campus and basing on the location of the accident:

    1. If she was heading to south campus to drop of her application, she would've been traveling the opposite direction.

    2. If she just came back from from dropping the application off from south campus, she HAD to use the bridge (as it is the only way) and make a right turn at the intersection where the accident happened.

Therefore it isn't true because she was driving along the river where it was well known for racing.

So she was racing, hit a child and did not stop. Go to her hair appointment, file a false police report and tried to get her car fixed asap at a body shop. Made up lies, had her father cover up for her. Yet her friends had the guts to tell us that we have no rights to call her evil because she's an honor roll student and the sweetest person they've known. What a joke!

I hope the worst for them.

I guess if it's the ignorant Asians, no one will give them sympathy.

Poor boy. At least, he's out of ICU. That's good news. Hope he recovered smoothly.

So here's a picture of the kid now. He has 20 to 30 stitches in his face, broken eye socket and jaw. Pretty much his face was smashed from landing. Operation on his leg was also done to remove an object out. I hope the best for his recovery.

As for the girl, she did went to get her hair done. Hairdresser said she was very calm. You can read the report here.

    She is so cold.

I was angry and saddened after I read the story. Those cover ups just shows how horrible some people are but that didn't surprise me.

I wish the poor boy a best and speedy recovery.

Maybe they're gonna cut that guy a deal. Absolve him of involvement so that he steps forward to them, and get him to testify against her to the maximum extent of the law.

They'd be hardpressed to get him to come forward if they say they've got charges ready for him to answer to.

    That's also what I'm wondering......

Crazy. Thrown 20 feet into the air? Thank goodness the boy will recover. As for that girl......I don't care how sweet and studious she is, but to pull off something like that, and then just drive off to attend her dumb hair appointment like nothing was wrong....that's just so incredibly heartless. I hope she gets a heavy punishment. And definitely take her driver's license away for at least 5 years. We can't afford having that kind of people on the roads.

I'm not sure either but the police said they have a video from a local business. They said the other car stopped and got an ambulance for the kid.

Who knows, she could be trying to impress the guy by speeding up with her RSX. In this area there are plenty of princess-wanna be girls in their hot rides. I've seen one with a license plate that said "Barbie" on it and the driver was some snobby looking white girl.

When the witness told the other involved male driver to stop, he looked back and gave her the F-word...that pisses me off just thinking about it.
apparently that male driver got off the hook because he flagged down an ambulance for the kid...stilll, he was invoved but the police let him off. they even dismissed the fact that he was drag racing 90mph down a school street.

what also really angered me was how the girl claimed that she was the one who stepped up and confessed to the crime. what an outright liar...and i can't believe her dad blew off the incident as a "freak accident" just to protect the girl. has he not seen the victim's pictures? how would he like it if it was his oh so precious daugther in the icu?

the truth is, when you look at the messages left on the news board, there is very little sympathy for the spoiled brat. it's obvious to all that she tried too many times to cover her act but her lies were inconsistent with reality. i'm waiting for further charges to be pressed. it seems as though maximum jail sentence for her is 2 years...that seems like a joke when a poor adolescent boy is scarred for life.

He flagged down an ambulance? So, he saw a passing ambulance and flagged it down like a taxi? That ambulance was most probably called by the two good samaritans who look after the kid until the ambulance arrived and the ambulance was going to stop at the accident scene whether or not the male driver flag it.

So yesterday, an old drunk Asian guy hit a mother and her two kids while crossing, in the same city. Thankfully they're ok. All these reckless drivers need to be punished I swear.

I have no sympathy for the driver at all, and usually when a bad Asian does something wrong, the good ones are affected by it too. But I'm just sick with some of the white folks here with their racist mentality and can't let go of the opportunity to bash when a minority is involved. The cause of the accident was clearly from drunk driving, not because his lack of English, nor because you think he's an illegal alien and how you think he should be sent back to motherland.

    But what's new?
