Scientists have concluded that human beings evolved from the most intelligent species that survived the most recent mass extinction, which occurred 65 million years ago.

If dinosaurs had survived and evolved, would human beings exist now? Would the descendents of dinosaurs be smarter than humans?

If dinosaurs had survived and evolved, I think human beings would not exist because dinosaurs are much more powerful. They can hunt human beings down easily. However, dinosaurs would never have the intelligence to build like we do today.

The answer is no. As far as I know, mammals which co-existed with dinosaurs were small sneaky types. That's the reason they survived the asteroid strike (if we accept that it was the asteroid which led to dinosaur extinction) much like cockroaches will still be here after the human species is gone.
