    Default The Questions/Interview Game

    Inspired by the T/F game.

I'll start off by posting a random interview question for the person below me to answer and then they'll post a question of their own to continue the game and etc.

The goal is to get to know each other better, so the question should inquire about someone whilst not being too personal nor offensive.

So, person below me, what is your first name?

    No middle name for me.

To the next individual: if you live in a Western country, do you have more Asian friends or non-Asian friends?

    ======================
By the way, ByTmE, I'm really starting to believe you're Vietnamese. Are you?

I'm what you call an extroverted introvert. I can be quite social around groups of people I like and am comfortable with. But I usually prefer smaller crowds or just solitude.

To the person below, why did you choose your username and avatar? Random or do they mean something to you?
    Because I'm somewhere in between,
    My love and my agony.

I chose "Cesare" because I wanted a guy's name and because I am a big fan of Wiene's "Cabinet of dr. Caligari". Plus, I think that words beginning with capital C look pretty cool.
As for the avatar - Cheng Haofeng as Zhen Zhibing. Chosen on purpose, of course, as I am a fan of both.

OK...Next person, whoever you are - what topic or topics (if any) are you really sensitive about? (And is there anyone on SPCnet with whom you disagree regarding the said topic(s) so fundamentally that you prefer not to discuss it with them?)

There aren't things I'm overly sensitive about, more passionate, I suppose. Things like psychology and mental health issues, music, art, and maybe relationship topics are the ones I can think of so far. There are people whose views I disagree with on the board, but I don't go out of my way to avoid discussing with them. Though I do get lazy and apathetic enough to not bother with certain posters.

Person below, what do you consider to be your most important goals?
    Because I'm somewhere in between,
    My love and my agony.

In life? Attaining occupational success, providing for my parents, having a happy marriage, and helping others. Just the stereotypical "American dream" I guess.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

oOoOhh This one's hard! Initially, I thought I'd love to be able to grant people inner peace. But that's too selfless. SO I would love to have the ability to understand, speak, read, and write in any language. That is, whether the language is living or dead, alien or homo sapiens, human or computer.

Man! The books I could READ!

Person below: Are there any particular human personality traits that you vehemently hate?
    I like me.

Yes. And I must admit I'm not entirely devoid of some of them.
Among other traits, I hate ruthlessness, excessive self-absorbedness and histrionicism, cruelty, rigidness...

no...though it would be cool to learn.
btw, i imagine the questions should be more "open-ended" eh (to differentiate it from the true-false game)

    Person below me:
If you were given a 5 day vacation for free (including travel fees, food, living, etc) where would you go/what would you do---and why?
Note: you may choose to stick on your sofa for 10 days if you feel like. You can also travel to multiple places, but be realistic with the travel times in between (the inital round-trip from your home doesn't count)

I'd go to France. In Paris, I'd probably do the usual, like visit the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur, Arc de Triomphe, etc. I'd also just take walks along the Seine, sit in coffee shops, and do lots of shopping. I'd also love to go to Nice and Bordeaux again, because those cities are beautiful.

Person below, where have you traveled to? What were your favourite places? Least favourites?

For some reason I really really like Uranus. I'd be considering Pluto, too.
(Yeah, I know I know - but in MY universe, Pluto is the ninth planet and always will be... I'm very sentimental about Pluto...)

    Next person:
If you could invite 3 to 5 historical figures to a dinner (let's suppose that somehow you would all be able to understand one another, so language barrier wouldn't be an issue) - who would you invite?

@ Pemberly, it's a bit of a worry. But we've been planning this holiday for aboout 6 months and Greece is one of my ultimate destination. So hopefully no BA strike or temperamental volcano or any riots are going to stop me

    next:
