There are 35 characters in the game and there is no need to unlock any which is good. However, there are many characters that I really like that are not in the game. It would be great if Charlie (way better than Guile), Alex, Yun, Yang, Oro, Karin (Alpha 3), Juni (Alpha 3), and Juli (Alpha 3). I don't know why sucky character like Dudley, T-Hawk, Ibuki, Guy, E. Honda, and Makoto are in the game instead of the great ones. One more thing that I am disappointed of the game is none of the fighter is Canadian. It's not that I have anything against characters of other nationalities, but it's unfair that there is no representation for Canada since we buy lot of their games. Anyway, I just bought the game through Ebay (still haven't receive it) for my PS3 for about $40 including shipping which I think is very reasonable.

I thought that Sakura kid is cute, even though she's apparently not that powerful. I used to pick her and Ryu or Ken as a team for one of the versions when playing on arcades machines.

I never understood why Charlie and Guile share the similar moves until just now, I read up about them.

No, I won't purchase the game since I'm not such a gamer anymore.

I don't like the game all that much. The moves are so cheap most of the times.
Street fighter Alpha series is much much better especially Alpha 3.

I find it much less satisfying than SF3

And the character line up truly is terrible.

SF3 was a break away from the Alpha and other SF storyline and is what made it awesome. New game dynamics and fighting system but old school SF feel. SF4 just doesn't compare
