Was it ever explained why Lee Chum Foon hated tea?

We all know that Lee Chum Foon loved his liquor, but just because a person prefers liquor doesn't mean that he necessarily detests tea. Lee Chum Foon apparently did. Ah Fei said that even if you had Lee Chum Foon by the throat and tried to force him to drink tea, he still wouldn't drink it.

Did he really hate it that much? Why?

Seung Gwoon Gum Hung's drinking habits were even stranger. He told Lung Siu Wan Sr. and Jr. that he didn't drink liquor, tea, or soup. That leaves...pretty much just plain water (no soda or fruit juice in those days).
