After a rather memorable singing competition in May this year, where we discovered the tasty goodness of cheesecake, SPCNET Idol is back for the second season.

I would like to thank spcnet for kindly donating $20 to the winner of SPCNET Idol and for being so supportive of this competition. Despite his plea to remain anonymous, I am sure you will all recognise that netdriftr is again helping me host this competition, just like the days of Actress Battle Royale, only with less bit-… I mean, conflict.

Wow.. these are really well done. I think for me it's a toss between #3, #4 and #6. Completely torn between the three. #5 sounds like a really hard song (the melody isn't quite as catchy as that of the other 5) to sing.. well done for managing to sound so good!

I thought I remember only two male singers in the acappella final, how come there are three male singers here?

1) Very good performance! I like!

2) Music is really good. Singer sounds good.

3) OMG! I love this song! She has a very nice voice. If I were a guy, I'd marry her! LOL! She's the one who sang One Dream One Person right? Did she sing Reflection too?

Gee this poll's really tough, all the participants sound excellent! But ultimately, i think its a fight between 3,4,6. Actually i really like 1's peformance as well (excellent song choice!) but her pronunciation is slightly off, not that im complaining though since she could be a non-mandarin speaker.

Ohmygosh, that took such a long time. Everyone did such a great job I feel I have to nitpick to have anything to write about other than gushing. Okay, totally just my humble opinion.

1) Sweet voice. It does seem like there's some "h" missing but it doesn't bother me. Kudos for singing a song in a language you don't normally speak in (I assume.) I like the song. Very melodious. You performed it well. Just a lil bit difficulty in reaching one high note but that's nitpicking. I likes a lot.

2) You sound a little far from the mic. You sound smooth, and seem to be able to sing this song easily. I think you can pick a better song to showcase your wonderful singing. The intro is too long, and overall sounds rather bland to me.

3) Maybe its your clear recording, sounds so professional. Your very nice voice helps obviously. I like how you sound mature and so ladylike.

4) Smooth voice. Sounds quite clear and professional too. Do you sing at those music cafes/pubs? Your song sounds the most dramatic.

5) Your characteristic, very echoey sound in the beginning made my hair stand. I was listening laaaate at night! So haunting/ghostly. Can't sleep now... I think your voice can express sadness quite well. I think you sing slightly lower/flatter at some parts, but that somehow sounds like you're being mournful, which is appropriate for this song. I think this song's melody actually got lotsa ups and downs and hard to sing well. But you did. Very good.

6) Yup I can see how your voice/singing and the style of songs you pick make girls swoon. I think you're a tenor, but the song sounds very high. Good job.

I seem to write more about songs I'm familiar with. But yeah, too hard to pick which I like best. I'll decide later. When's the deadline again?

wow, just as amazing as a cappella, except with the bgm you guys sound even more professional. ok again, this is just my biased view on things, but u're all wonderful and infinitely better singers than i will ever be.

#1 - well done! very nice & clear voice. and nice song.

#2 - it sounds pretty good, but i have to agree with wuxiagurl's points.

#3 - omg so professional! this is #6 from the other division, correct? beautiful voice.

#4 - also very professional

#5 - is this the same person as ye zi? again, unique but a bit breathy.

#6 - nice voice, sounds quite a bit like nicholas teo!

sorry, i got worn out from a cappella so my comments in this division are relatively shorter. 1, 3, 4, 6 are all excellent but my vote goes to 1 because i just like something about the crisp way she sings. people have commented about pronunciation but i'm not the best at mandarin either so i can't judge.

In terms of "good voice", number 3 is the best. But 1 and 6 I thought were really cute. 2,4,5, you guys were really good as well! Argh i don't know who to vote....

fook, wewwy hard to chose. They were all excellent...but at the end it was between #1 and #3. So I had to go with the more technical and went with #3.
