    Default Blue Mountain Coffee

    Any tried it?

It's always talked about on these tvb dramas and a coffee shop just opened with a promotion on "blue mountain coffee."

Just wondering whether it's really that good or not. I'm not a coffee lover but I like trying new things.

I've never seen blue mountain coffee around here. I've only heard of it in Coffee House (a Korean drama), but I'll be interested to see how it tastes w/ some cream and sugar.

There has been some Blue Mountain at Starbucks in the US. It is just a bit richer, not as watery, compared to the less pricey coffees. Strong and bold flavors. But, I don't think it justifies the price tag. (They were charging $6 for a cup of Blue Mountain.)

I prefer Starbuck's Kona blend, which is half the price, and has a more delicate blend of flavors.

I've heard it's good. Maybe you can just buy the smallest pack for a try.

It also depends on the freshness, though. Depending on where it's roasted and how long they take for it ship out of Jamaica and arrive in your city, the coffee could already be stale and lose much of it's flavor...which really defeats the purpose of you spending the big bucks for it.

Wow I didn't know they charge $6 for a cup. I hear people talking about how its the best coffee ever. I eventually need to try it to find out. Lately, I also hear about how the bullet proof coffee is really good.
