I was wondering about this hostage issue today when I went out to eat lunch.I wasn't sure what was going on,since its been a long while watching the news. What James Lee says I can't disagree more about human nature does pollute so many things. There should be new innovative ways to live life in a productive manner. However, there isn't a tv show really focus on this issue;this is his protest.Hmm,it can reach more viewers this way.
After leaving the US and seeing some relatives in Taiwan by comparing the way of living is much different back home.I do learned a few new ways to recycle and save certain items or collect them, although I'd already knew in the U.S.,we do waste so much. For example, found a bag of vhs tapes in either good condition or brand new,old College textbook[sold some],empty cardboard box for my dvd's.Just an idea, but they all can be reused again;oh yeah empty 5 cent bottles no one wants. It's amazing how much money you can get out of it within a month $400+US dollars just from empty deposit bottles.By convert, this amount in Taiwan dollar is=12,800.80.
There are more people implementing new ways of learning on how to recycle compared to a few years before;its a good start.
Any opinions?

He is a psycho that deserves to die for his action. I glad that all the hostages didn't get hurt. I can't believe there is such organization like Voluntary Human Extinction Movement. I myself believe that the world is over populated and people should have fewer children (no more than 4). And for people who are unable to provide at least the basic needs, then they shouldn't create any children. It's better to not create any children than bring them to the world to live in poverty and suffer. However, advocating for extinction of the human race is insane. Afterall, the human race is by far the best specie in the earth history.James Lee
James Jay Lee was an environmental activist who took hostages at the Discovery Channel offices at Silver Spring, Maryland on Sept 1, 2010. He published a disturbing list of demands on his website: http://savetheplanetprotest.com/.
Lee was shot and killed by police after a standoff that lasted a couple of hours. The three hostages he took were not hurt.
Lee has had ongoing issues with the Discovery Channel, including holding a rowdy protest in 2008 in front of its offices. He was arrested for throwing money in the streets and creating disturbance. He was fined and ordered to stay away from the TV station.
