    Default Foods you like, but people hate...

    So what are some foods or drinks that you like that other people you know don't like? Also, what are some foods or drinks that people really like that you don't like?

    I grew up loving Durians, but just like in those Chinese series, some people hate the smell therefore they hate the fruit. Opposite of that, my family loves ripe Papaya but I hate the smell so I don't ever eat it.

    I avoid pork. I can't say that I hate. I'm alright when it doesn't come with the thick layer of "flabber". And the Chinese's favourite pig intestine feast -- I'm not a fan yet rather the opposition. Opposing my people, I like Indian food, especially from the North... but their starter is really too much for me to handle.

    I love durians too! I don't mind the smell either...it's jack fruit that I hate. I can't stand the way it looks, tastes, texture, and SMELL. I am overly fond of red fruits like cranberries, pomegranates, cherries, strawberries, and cherry tomatoes but I HATE red apples --I only eat those in pink or green. Going along with pink fruits, I love grapefruit but eat it in secret so that people don't think I'm dieting or suggest that it's good that I'm dieting. I'm fond of chicken liver and gizzards, chicken feet, and balut eggs...yeah the ones with the little chicks inside. I also like eating little dried snails that are sold as street food. I sure miss living in Asia. Oh I also avoid eating bananas...there just something about them.

    Oh yes, did I mention I <3 steamed peanuts? :: I'm hungry.

    No. People don't "boycott" Sharkfin soup due to dislike, yet to avoid contributing harm to the eco-system as far as the ocean is concerned. As much as I love Sharkfin soup, I have to boycott it. You get what I mean? I'm fine with it if they do it the vegetarian style.

    I didn't know what that was so I looked it up and if I looked at the correct one, then the bottle appearance is very unattractive. It looked more like eastern medicine. : )

    Also, besides Dim Sum Tripes, I don't eat any organs or inner parts of any animals with the exception of regular meat. I'm probably missing out a lot due to my pickiness but I can't help it.

    I love durian. I can eat one whole durian myself

    I hate cherries. I even can't stand cherry covered chocolate.

    Sometime during my high school period, my biology teacher said something about a type of worm that lives in the pork's belly that won't get killed unless the pork was cooked properly (above certain temp). After hearing that, I actually refused to eat pork for years but now I'm okay with it.

    I also like durian even though the smell was not good,it gives energy,antioxidant supplement and has a high amount of protein. If the people know what durian can give us, I think they will like durian.
