Default What book are you reading currently?

I've just started A Multitude of Sins by Richard Ford. Quite interesting so far. His style takes a little getting used to, but it's engaging.

I've been reading Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris for the last few months, I just can't find the time to actually finish it. It is interesting book.

Michael Ende is a great writer. His best work was not the Neverending story but the one called 'Mo' (I think).

I am about to start Chinese literature collection - water margin and JTTW. (in english of course)

Just started trying out romance novels a few months ago. Currently reading The Shattered Rose by Jo Beverley.

Unfinished book: A Man Named Dave: A Story of Triumph and Forgiveness by David Peltzer. Not that it's a bad book. It's a very good book actually. I just got distracted by other things, so, left it unfinished (plus I already read to the important parts ). Going to continue reading it after Shattered Rose.

Probably in certain school systems because of the character Jim. It wasn't banned by my school system. Read the book in 8th grade. That was a long time ago... not really. Only 4 years ago

I'm currently reading "The Stone Diaries" by Carol Shields and just finished ready "The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood. Not bad, but not one of her best- like Alias Grace or The Robber Bride.

Then it's a pity it's not banned from my school system...*sighs*

Just came back from the library today and am reading "Lady of Sherwood," continuation of "Lady of the Forest" by Jennifer Roberson.

If you like history, myths, and Robin Hood/Middle Ages, it's an AWESOME book providing new insight to the character of Robin Hood.

Hamilton's Mythology and some other person's Wizard of Earthsea for school.

If it's not for school I wouldn't read over the summer at all.

    Cool

I prefer Huckleburry Finn than Tom Sawyer or it could be that I read the former first so had a better impression.

Mark Twain is not in my favorite author list although I have practically all of his short strories. His idea reoccured in those plots that it became so cliche.

Some authors are great with short stories and some just aren't.
