anyhow, icy, i don't know how to surf sina. the pictures i like happen to have sina plastered in them. as for the chinese names, i google the pinyin for words that i like and put them together or google chinese names.

hmm...wonder why gx hasn't rated the fic yet. how much of your plan will that foil if it has to be rated pg?

Hmm, I'm not sure. All of it? Hahaha it's quite hard to be a villian in a PG setting, wouldn't you say? (No, my standards of villainy don't include being portrayed on a t-shirt as Little Miss Up-to-no-good...)


Anyway, I don't know about RYY but these few days I'm here quite a lot cos I got stuck in my day job. Some weird technical problem I don't know how to solve. LOL

Oh I think I'm supposed to start the story. But this is the discussion thread, so I don't know where GX plans to post the story yet.

Btw, is there an spcnet forum guideline on the ratings?
Since this is an open forum, you'll never know if you have 8 yr olds marching in so the highest rating you can go is probably whatever the spcnet limit is.

Well, I imagine it's like brainstorming before you write a paper. The better prep work you have done, the easier it is to write. Unless you're doing scientific writing--then you can be as dry as you like until your readers squeeze their brains out.

i don't even know what spcnet's rating is. in the wuxia translation, many of gu long's novels have been translated and some of the language there is pretty explicit, especially when he describles how voluptuous his naked vixens are. should that be our standard then? still waiting for gx. i'm on here today because it's a bit slow today at work.

The Central Plains, divided by the collapse of the Han Dynasty and the strife of power-hungry warlords on the quest for the Mandate of Heaven, have now emerged four powerful states of Xiang, Pan, Xiwu and Donghai.

The state of Pan, though mutually protected by its alliance with Xiang, is nonetheless fatigued by frequent border incursions from Xiwu. The old Pan King died of overexertion and his eldest son, the Prince of Pan, having ascended the Throne, decided to broker a peace deal with Xiwu by marrying the eldest Xiwu Princess and offering a handsome dowry as tribute.

The Xiwu King accepted the proposal and the Xiwu Princess and her entourage have now arrived at the Pan capital. Unbeknownst to all, the bride's younger sister Yue Jiayan has arrived together with the entourage disguised as a maid...

So what is the limits of PG 13? I mean, spcnet automatically censors certain language anyways. James bond is usually rated PG-13 and I imagine most GL stuff are actually just PG-13.
