I just figured it'll go with the European styles where "Majesty" usually refers to King/Queen and "Highness" is for Prince/Dukes.

But then again, the Euro's got their own problems with consistency

I'm using the convention of "Your Majesty" (Huang Shang or Bi Xia) for the Emperor, "Your Royal Highness" (Da Wang or Wang Ye) for a feudal king and "Your Highness" when I'm too lazy to type out "Your Royal Highness" in full. LOL

Normally, I think that would be the case, but we don't really have an "Emperor" here...

In any case, I suppose it doesn't really matter as long as it is clear who is being addressed.

we don't have an emperor? i'm so confused....so we just have feudal kings for each kingdom and we're fighting for the mandate to be emperor? if that's the case then i have to correct some of my posts to use royal highness instead of imperial majesty.
