Did Wei Xiaobao liked his shifus?

I haven't read the whole story in text yet, but from the story so far, Wei Xiaobao seems to have shown absolutely no genuine affection for any of his shifus, except for Kang Xi as a friend. Did he have any genuinely filial feelings at all for any of them?

I think he has genuine feelings for Chen Jinnan and Jiu Nan, but he was never brought up to express customary "filial" activities like deferring to your teacher for advice and such or even listening to them. He definitely treated them more like parent figures that he respected but not the traditional teacher-student relationship. WXB and Kangxi, despite their other "titles" are best childhood friend relationship.

Wei Xiao Bao went to great length to avenge Chen Jin Nan despite he have been ordered not to by Chen Jin Nan himself and Kang Xi.
