Chen Xiao is the lead actor in Female Prime Minister. He's also in Gong 2 as one of the minor princes.

Yu Zheng is so famous now for getting Wallace from Tang Ren. This morning he had a weibo talk and he seemed like a completely different person. He admitted he had some misunderstanding with Ruby. He admitted he talked nonsense publicly. He said he read all the comments and he would try his best to reconcile. Er, so obvious what's he up to....

Omfg...Wallace Huo...Chen Xiao...Han Dong...and that other guy is not bad-looking either (hard to tell in that pic with the sunglasses though). *faints* Ok seriously what is Yu Zheng's secret to getting such good casts!! >_< But Wallace Huo as LHC??? 10 times better than Mickey (which was rumoured)!!! Haha.

I now have renewed interest in this series--YZ isn't writing the script right, he is just one of the producers? Therefore I am holding out hope this actually has a decent plot! Maybe YZ is only in charge of stuff like scenery, costumes, music, etc. and leaves the scripting/wuxia choreography to the experts.

Seriously though I've been waiting for another wuxia series for a loooong time, I can't wait to hear the announcements for female leads. Like some people mentioned I would love it if Yang Mi could lead in it but I won't get my hopes up since she is concentrating on movies now...but surely if offered she wouldn't want to pass up such a good role?? (Or am I just projecting my own feelings, LOL.)

Anyways I am also glad that Joe Chen is not RYY--I actually quite like Joe Chen but...not as RYY...actually I think she is more suitable for modern series.

He didn't say when.

Unfortunately he is the scriptwriter for SOD. Chu Liu Xiang is a disaster but this morning he said he only wrote epic 1 and the desert plot for this drama.

Yu made a post this morning. He said he had a stomach pain because he was thinking hard about the story (with the help of experts though). He wanted to put in new ideas but afraid it would distract the wuxia feel. He said he is under a lot of stress because this is his first wuxia drama and he wants it to be perfect! How perfect he wants it to be? He put in a demonstration of this chess game. The chess piece with a triangle is a scene where Ling Hu Chong placed it on a chess game when he's at Mei Zhuang!

Yu Zheng just made another post:

LHC is the absolute male lead and he'll have more than 600 scenes. DFBB will have more scenes but no more than 200 and so it's impossible for DFBB to overtake LHC. He claimed this version will have the most spirit of the novel in history!

I heard it's pretty much confirmed that Yang Rong will play Yue Ling Shan. People love her in Gong 2.

Oh I love Ling Hu Chong!! He got injured so many times in the early parts of the novel and I am quite sad as I have to visualize him as Ma Jin Tao who acted as him in one version when I read. Now I can visualize him as Wallace a much better looking one yippee
