I'm hoping we have Vietnamese-speaking members for this....
In ROCH'83 dubbed, they call her Quach Song. In HSDS '86, she's known as Quach Thuong. My dad says the book he read called her Quach Tuong. What is the correct way to say it?

Simon the Snowblower.
Check out hilarious Jin Yong Adaptations' bloopers!
I was wondering the same until I read the novel myself haha.
In the 83's version, she was called Quách Song.
In the 95's version, it's Quách Sương
In the 2006's version, it's Quách Tường. She was actually known as Quách Tường in the first book translation too, I think.
But I believe her actual is Quách Tương since in every version, Guo Jing (Quách Tĩnh guards thành Tương Dương and Guo Xiang's name come from thành Tương Dương)
The correct way to said 郭襄 - Guo Xiang - is Quách Tương
I have not read the book, but I intepreted as her father name her "襄" Xiang (Tương) because of the word "襄助" (tương trợ, hỗ trợ, giúp đỡ) which means "to assist", "to aid", "to help". Guo Jing named her that because he was hoping she grow up and help her mom and dad fight the Mongols and protect Xiangyang.
Xiangyang is in Hubei, China
