Default Who ruled Dali during the brief time immediately after Deun Jing Ming's abdication?

Dali King Deun Jing Ming abdicated his throne when he became a monk at Heavenly Dragon Temple shortly before Kau Mor Tze arrived at the temple to challenge the Heavenly Dragon Temple monks and take the 6 Mak Divine Swords scrolls. His brother Deun Jing Tsun never took the throne, and his nephew Deun Yu wouldn't assume the throne until a year or two later. Who ruled Dali in the interim? Was it one of the ministers or nobles ruling as regent?

I think he retained the throne until Duan Yu took over. He had officially become a monk but Dali custom may have allowed him to continue as king in name. I recall in the 97 TVB adaptation, he continued to rule Dali, and at the end, when Duan Yu confessed to him about his background, DZM was sitting on his throne, obviously bald, but with a crown still on his head.
