A little background:

The webdrama was adapted from the novel Guardian 镇魂 by Priest. https://book.douban.com/subject/26281913/

Morden stories mainly focused on solving cases of non-human beings, involving entanglement of past lives of main characters. The worldview of the story is HUGE and based on transitional Chinese myths, e.g. <Book of Mountains and Seas>.

The book story is a boy-boy love. The adaption drama will be brotherhood friendship.
