    *undisclosed project title

Producer-actress Josie Ho, daughter of Hong Kong casino magnate and billionaire Stanley Ho, is investing in a potential series of adaptations through her 852 Films banner. “Jin Yong’s novels are like Marvel Comics in the U.S.,” Ho says, noting how the writer's hundreds of heroes with individualized skills and personas, all nestled into a deep historical context, matches the Marvel Cinematic Universe in terms of breadth and originality.

Ho’s first Jin project — the title of which has not yet been disclosed — will mark 852's first foray into the mainland Chinese film market (her company has co-produced the London-set How to Talk to Girls at Parties; Hong Kong director Pang Ho-cheung’s Dream Home, in which Ho starred; and Revenge: A Love Story, featuring singer-actor-director Juno Mak). 852 has partnered with China’s The One Media Group, which bought the mainland film adaptation rights to Jin’s major works for an undisclosed sum in September.

If the rumor or news of what you talked about is true then I hope there will be more TV series remake of such great novels.

When I was watching some of the music video of the Xiao Ao Jiang Hu 2018, I read some comments from some person saying that not only do they looks better than the new Lin Hu Chong but they could probably play as him much betters too.

So even though the 2018 Xiao Ao Jiang Hu didn't produces very great results among the veiwers..... I'm very glad to read such comment and hope that new young talanted actors would be enthusiastic about wanting to be part of the future remake versions and to perhaps maximize on the overall performance of such great characters as Lin Hu Chong.

I think if there is a next remake of Xiao Ao Jiang Hu, perhaps they should consider Thomas Tong for the role of Lin Hu Chong as we saw his marvelous acting performance in The Taoism Grandmaster as the character of Zhang Ling which is like a hybrid of the young playful Yang Guo and Lin Hu Chong.

I don't watch modern drama series much but I've learned about this new series while watching some music videos of Xiao Ao Jiang Hu. This modern series have the actor of the new Dong Fang Bu Bai, Lin Ping Zhi, and Y Lin as three main characters.

The interesting thing about this new show is that it's a love romance series with Lin Ping Zhi battling Dong Fang Bu Bai for the love of Y Lin. It sure looks like those actors plus actress are becoming very close great friends even after the not so great result of Xiao Ao Jiang Hu 2018.

Perhaps after the new Yi Tian Tu Long Ji show is over, they will make a modern love drama series with the new Zhao Min battling Zhou ZhiRuo for the love of WuJi?

What do you guys think of such love types of modern drama series?

I just looked it up. Apparently they cut 15 episodes. From 60 to 45. Hopefully it won't be an edited mess. Although it probably will be.

o here is the latest news.

there are 3 (yes three) upcoming Fox (that adapted from Jin Yong's novel).

the first one is Young Flying Fox , a TV series produced by famous Zhang Jizhong, will start shooting march, 2021 . Main broadcast network : Tencent

the second one is Fox Volant of the Snowy Mountain, a 45-episodes TV series that produced by a company name Huace dan IQIYI. Starring: Zhang Kaitai, Jiang Zhenyu, Zhang Chenghang, & Jiang Yuan. probably the fastest one to be released.

the third one is Fox Volant of the Snowy Mountain movie version, production house are iQIYI dan Qimai Studio, producer = Yang Qiming and Qiao Lei. the first Poster and Behind scene video are already available on Weibo.

yeah these 2021-2022 will be the years of Fox .

These producers are very clever. There is no fox in Chinese zodiac, so they subtract a letter (F) and u get (F)Ox... The year of the OX.

Return of the Condor heroes starring Tong Mengshi and Mao Xiaohui is in post-production. Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils starring Tony Yang is also in post-production. I'm guessing both will air in 2021 considering they're both in the post-production stage.
