That likely means they focused more on 1 Yeung Finger Technique at that point, as they had gotten as far as they could with Gwok Jing's martial arts.

Yes, but I'm under the impression that they had already learned that before reuniting with their father. After that, they probably focused on training 1 Yeung Finger Technique.
