Default Where is Borte (Genghis Khan's wife) in LOCH?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B%C3%B6rte

Borte is the first wife of Genghis Khan. She has 4 sons (Jochi, Chagatai, Ogedei, Tolui) and 5 daughters (Khochen Bekhi, Alakhai Bekhi, Tumelun, Alaltun, Checheikhen). Genghis Khan passed away on 1227 and she passed away on 1230. Therefore, she should be around during LOCH. However, she does not appear in LOCH. Among her daughters, Wah Jeng is not there. Is Wah Jeng fictional? In LOCH, Wah Jeng is the only daughter of Genghis Khan that we know of. Where are other daughters?

    Not needed for the story.

Why not? Wah Jeng has many weak moments in Mongolia that she turned to Li Ping for comfort. It makes more sense that she turned to her mother instead.

She appeared in person near the beginning of LOCH, when Dushi set his grandfather's hunting leopards on Tolui. She was holding the four-year old Huazheng, who managed to wander away and attempted to stroke one of the leopards. Guo Jing saved HZ's life by grabbing her and rolling away. From that time on, Borte held GJ in high regard, and would often send gifts to him and his mother.

It would be interesting if she appeared more often in the story along with her other daughters.

I think her name is translated differently and not Wah Jeng?

The proper anglicization, I recently learned, is Khojin.
