Default Why don't Qwai Fa Bo Deen and Pik Che Sword Technique work for women?

If men must castrate themselves to train in the Qwai Fa Bo Deen and Pik Che Sword Technique, why don't these skills work for women, who, for the lack of a better term, are already naturally "pre-castrated?"

Good question. Maybe that's another requirement of some sort, that you have to be a man.

I thought it was to do with a guys sex drive and when you cut that off, all the energy is redirected else where resulting in super speed.

If this is the case, then JY doesn't know anything about females and their sexual desires hehe

On one level it's the need to have the right balance between yin and yang to practice this art. Women don't have enough yangness and men in their original state have too much. The creator of KHBD was supposed to be an eunuch, so it could be that the requirement to make the supreme sacrifice before starting to learn the arts in the manual was stipulated out of spite, but it could be that the inner power element simply could only be achieved by a person in that unfortunate state. For the purposes of the story the key aspect of KHBD only working for men (and its infamous first requirement) is to symbolize the extent to which wulin-dominating power is irresistable.

Yeah, but KHBD is way overrated. It is not that great. It is inferior to Dugu9Sword and YJJ. YBQ and LPZ are NOT that powerful after learning Bixie.

We never got to see the true power of KHBD. Just like Chinese whispers, the copy that DFBB had was incomplete and Pixie sword was even further lacking from the original.

For example, if you took XXDF which was created from afew lines of BMSG, could you conclude that BMSG is overrated?
