Default Cheung 3 Fung (Tai Chi Sword Technique) vs. Fung Ching Yeung (Dook Goo 9 Swords)

Assuming everyone is in peak condition, how would Cheung 3 Fung fare in a duel against Fung Ching Yeung, Tai Chi Sword Technique vs. Dook Goo 9 Swords?

We saw Ling Wu Chung defeat Taoist Chung Hui during SPW. Chung Hui was very, very good, but he was no Cheung 3 Fung. Likewise, Ling Wu Chung was no Fung Ching Yeung (who in turn, was no Dook Goo Kau Bai).

How do you think it goes?

If DG9J can counter all swords, then this includes Tai Chi sword 😁

The practitioner matters. I don't think Ling Wu Chung using Dook Goo 9 Swords is likely to defeat Cheung 3 Fung, but would Fung Ching Yeung?

Sword contest only or include "inner strength" since I think Zhang Sanfeng overall skill much better than Feng Qingyang..

Both. Each fighter will draw upon whatever resources he has available to counter the other.

True and we don't know how much of DK9J that FCY really knows? It could have just been a partial manual.

First couple of rounds ZSF, then FQY will dominate, unless the former comes up with something new.

Swordplay wise I think it would be quite a draw at first, then Z3F uses inner force to overwhelm FQY who hasnt quite mastered the 9th index.

I gave the first few rounds to Z3F as Tai Chi sword is fundamentally different from conventional swordplay, thus FQY would have trouble overcoming it right of the bat. Internal force wise I agree Z3F would edge out FQY.

If you go with the no defensive move nonsense about DG9J, I dont see how Z3F wins the first few rounds since FQY will only be attacking but failing to break thru Taichi Sword.

This all sounds somewhat reminiscent of the duel between Dook Goo 1 Hok and Sai Mun Chui Sheut in the first LUK SIU FUNG story.

Dook Goo 9 Swords is way superior to Tai Chi Sword so Fung Ching Yeung would win the fight despite slightly lower internal energy.
