Have you ever watched a certain movie which is really good and yet gave you anxiety and/or feeling lonely? If yes, what's the movie and how did you deal of those feelings?

Bump. Following up on this.
What type of anxiety? Could not remember any movie that made me anxious but I have been dealing with anxiety that leads to panic attacks, Then there are the night terrors when I don't deal with it. I was clinically diagnosed with PTSD. Been going on for a very long time, can't even remember anymore when exactly they started.
I tried "therapy" and that only made things worse. I found my way to control it totally by accident. Running, in specific Trail Running. I would guess that being on the trail away from all the noise and stress as well as the physical exertion changes something in a person's brain. The more I ran the less I has anxiety and as a result, lessened the panic and night terrors. Put it this way I was at urgent care so much they knew me by name, at least twice a month. I now end up there maybe twice a year.
When I was younger, hiking used to be my outlet, well I guess actually it was just being out in the forest because I did more sitting in the quiet than actual hiking.
Not sure which type, but I think I'm getting panicky too often these days whenever I get surprised. I love watching horror movies because it keeps me on the edge, but I think I'm watching too much of them. Not sure if getting old has something to do with it too?
I doubt it's a panic disorder, as it's a sudden episode of intense fear that triggers severe physical reactions when there is no real danger or apparent cause. It's better if you make an appointment with a specialist so you have a better understanding of your anxiety. Btw, how are you doing now? I'm hoping you are feeling better now while you celebrate the New Year!
I really like to watch documentaries on cold cases and murder mysteries. They draw me in as I watch them but sure make me scared as heck at night time. Since they induce anxiety and paranoia and for my sanity sake, I don't watch them as much.
I sure hope not. Well I had fun this New Year's eve! I facetime with my friends the whole night while I celebrate it at home with family. How about you? I hope you also had a great New Year with your family or friends.
I love horror and thriller movies, but I never watched cold cases and murder mysteries again after watching an episode of Unsolved Mysteries. It made me really anxious of my surroundings that my Mom has scolded me to stop watching it.
Angela is just such a film, causing very strong and mixed feelings after the finale. https://www.google.com/
I remember that film. Miranda Rhyme was so good at that time. I wonder how she's fairing now? I haven't heard any news about her since.
