The Tong Family in wuxia fiction.

Book 3 (BEFORE AND AFTER THE DUEL) of Gu Long's LUK SIU FUNG saga prominently featured members of the Tong Family, famed for their use of poisoned darts. I was told long ago that the Tong Family is not exclusive to that story and appears in many other stories, but I find no mention of them in any other wuxia stories. Where else did the Tongs appear or at least get mentioned other than LUK SIU FUNG, Book 3?
