in mandarin duck blades, the couple learned the sword combination arts for only a few hours to defeat the strongest character in the novel .i think this sword art is better than jade maiden swordplay combination, as you can learn it in a quick way

I am in the latter camp. YG & XLN individually were only marginally better than one of the Seven Immortals of Quanzhen, yet when using the sword skill they could reach Great Level combat ability.
I would estimate the Jade Maiden + Quanzhen swordplay increased their combat ability 4 folds.

In HSDS, He Taichong and Ban Shuxian from the Kunlun School were able to synchronize their swordsmanship with the unnamed elders from Huashan and almost kill Zhang Wuji. The four of them had never met in their lives; they had never trained before, but they did manage to form a formidable combination. Jin Yong even wrote that they only achieved 30 to 40 per cent of the effectiveness of the "Binary Poles Theory", and that was already enough to almost kill Zhang Wuji.

Personally, I don’t think that Yang Guo and the Little Dragon Girl’s grasp or mastery of Quanzhen swordplay has ever exceeded any of the Seven Masters of Quanzhen. We’re talking about six people who trained and studied this art for 40+ years and taught directly by the founder of the style. I am strictly speaking about Quanzhen martial arts here. That is just my speculation.

Wang Chongyang and Lin Chaoying are formidable individually, but would they make the Jade Maiden Combo work? Yang Guo and the Little Dragon Girl were in love but they also were each other’s soul mates. They connected emotionally and spiritually with one another. Whereas Wang Chongyang and Lin Chaoying loved each other, but they never understood one another. Both had so much pride and ambition that they would also try to be better than the other. There was love, but there was also rivalry. 玉女素心剑 needed 心意相通 to work. Yang Guo and the Little Dragon Girl had that, but Wang Chongyang and Lin Chaoying lacked that.
