    Default Leg/Foot LDA.

Just a random thought I had today.

Was there a single instance of LDA being fired from a kick/leg in any of the JY/GL (18 dragon subduing kicks from Longhu Men and Great Flaming Blade Foot from Spcnet Ultimate Wuxia RPG doesn't count ok?) stories?

I've got nothing from the novels on this subject, but I've thought (and possibly posted) about it before. My interest in the subject arose from a scene in DGSD '81, when the then-unrevealed Siu Yeun San rescued his son Siu Fung from Tsui Yin Manor when the latter was becoming overwhelmed by literally hundreds of enemies. Siu Yeun San utilized a kick against one opponent, with attendant 1980s animation "laser" effects, that sent said opponent flying into last week. Just seconds later, Siu Yeun San used another such "LDA" kick against a support column for one of the manor's awnings that literally brought the roof down on the pursuing enemies, enabling him and his wounded son to escape the scene.

That's all I have for a wuxia LDA kick, though.

Not JY/GL, but Tian Can Leg is probably the most famous LDA kick.

Wasn't Cheng Kun's martial arts specialized in leg/foot (kicks) techniques?
If so, he probably could perform a low-grade leg/foot/kick LDA

Wow! Those 1990s Jinyong's TV adaptations are so misleading

Wan-Yum Finger, it was called. I've long thought of it as "Reverse-1 Yeung Finger." He also had some 9 Yeung Jen Ging skills, though far below Cheung Mo Gei's level...possibly at Mit Jeut See Tai's level.

The closest I can think of is chapter 34 of LOCH where Huang Yaoshi uses his “leave-sweeping kicks’ to force the Six Masters of Quanzhen, Yin Zhiping and Ke Zhen’E to back away three steps. Is it LDA? I don’t think so.

    Chapter 34
So huge, so hopeless, to conceive
    As these that twice befell
Parting is all we know of heaven
And all we need of hell.

or this one by Yang Guo
Fawang was about to be victorious when, suddenly, he was hit on the shoulder. His chest hurt greatly and he trembled. He was furious and surprised and instantly attacked again.

Yang Guo backed away and retaliated with “In A State Of Disunity”, “Irrational Direction”, “The Settled Cessation” and another move quickly followed these three attacks. It was the “The Meaningless Wanderer”. This stance was a kick, but it was a most elusive attack. Fawang could only vaguely see a leg; it was there, but it was not. He could not avoid this kick and he suffered a heavy blow to his chest. He coughed up blood and fell. Both armies yelled, the Song yelled with joy and the Mongolians called out in surprise.
because JLFW cannot see his leg, so there is 50% chance it was LDA.
and for the YG hype, lets @Feilong and @Western Eccentric do it, i am not a fan of YG.

Yang Guo could possibly do a kick that would generate wind
No hype here, just pure personal analysis with support from the novel and science/physics.
