Arrow Yi Deng's martial brother is from Pakistan?

LOCH Fans translation here or other versions of translation use "India" as the origin of Yideng's martial brother.
but this version, translated by Anna Holmwood, use the word "Sindhu".
i checked wikipedia, Sindhu redirect to Indus River
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indus_River
Indus river flow across three countries ; pakistan, india, china
but the majority is in pakistan region (est 80%-90%)

isnt that make Yideng's martial brother more Pakistanis than Indian?

Pakistan did not exist as a nation until the population of Muslim Indians broke away from the rest of India. Other than difference of religion, the culture is the same.

Yeeep but only around 50-55% could be considered as "Indian" 35% "Iranian/Aryan people" and 10% mix ethnicity in Pakistan and northern India area..

India/Pakistan have a number of different ethnicities. It's a very complex region of the world in terms of culture, religion, and ethnicity. I had no idea Jin Yong ever got specific about which part of the Indian subcontinent from where 1 Deng's martial brother (the healer) originated.

Yeeep I mean if we talk about ethnicity Pakistan only have about 55% Indian so Yideng martial brother more likely come from India area not Pakistan area..

Though translated into English as "martial brothers," I think 1 Deng and the healer monk weren't actually alumni of martial arts, but only of Buddhist religion. I'm not sure if the healer monk has any fighting skills.
