What's your opinion about the Kang min's story arc in novel?
Do you think in this arc , part of the events was Xiao Feng's own fault?

As someone who will probably speed watch this latest adaptation, I’ve already sped watched the first two episodes.

Kang Min’s action against Xiao Feng are the acts of the sociopathic liar regardless of her sex. A man doesn’t respond ogle at married woman, a married woman to a colleague, so she decides to ruin his life. I would say her response is a bit extreme, and that is putting it mildly.

Hong Mun (Kang Min) was the wife of Deputy Union Chief Ma, who had taught Kiu Fung some martial arts and was his mentor before Kiu Fung became the Chief. Deputy Union Chief Ma was also one of the few people who knew the truth about Kiu Fung's Khitan origins. Anyway, Hong Mun, who was in many ways a mental case, viewed herself as the world's most beautiful, most bewitching woman, and delighted in her ability to seduce men. Ma Daiyuan never guide XF they even not considered as "friend" which XF admit himself though he is not Ma Daiyuan friend he would not kill him..

They didn't really have any beef with each other. They just had different personalities and enjoyments. Deputy Chief Ma was more introverted and did not enjoy drinking and partying with his Beggar's Union brothers, while Kiu Fung was just the opposite.
