Among the seven wives of Wai Siu Bo, I found these dynamics at play:
1. Fong Yee and Princess Geen Ling couldn't stand each other. Among the seven, they generally got along fine and some of them even grew quite close to each other, but Fong Yee and Geen Ling could NOT abide by each other. The main friction was between these two.
2. Fong Yee and Muk Geem Ping grew up together and had been close since childhood; this dynamic did not change after they married Wai Siu Bo.
3. Soo Cheun was the oldest and best martial artist among the seven. The six junior wives respected her and treated her as their de facto leader.
4. Everybody liked and respected Seung-yee, but as she was rather shy and passive, I sense that they didn't always take her seriously when she tried to be the voice of reason.
5. Ironically, Ah Ohr (of all people) seemed to be the voice of reason among the seven wives. Considering her attitude before she married Wai Siu Bo, this came as a complete surprise. She did not appear to have any conflicts with any of the other six.
6. Tsang Yu got lost in the shuffle. She was there, but it was often easy to overlook her.
It seems that main problem was only between Fong-yee and the former princess.
