Also could project 1 Yeung Finger through his cane and crutches, which was pretty cool.

I wonder what method of science he uses to heat up the cane and push out the energy, conduction and induction?

Wudang Hero #6 was doing exactly this, ie., spitting stones from his mouth, to fight off the vultures when his arms were all broken by the Mongol mercenaries.

I guess these disabled characters were forced to learn new skills that would be advantageous to them.
Sometimes, learning deadly, formidable techniques.

It's not necessarily cowardice to run from an opponent who is obviously much stronger than oneself. Even the most valiant of heroes ran when they knew they were up against enemies who could kill them easily (unless something worthwhile was at stake that they were willing to sacrifice for). It's usually just common sense and smart thinking. Cowardice is fleeing from opponents whom you can actually defeat or at least have a 50/50 chance against.
