Of ALL characters! Cheng Hak Song was a historical figure, of course. I don't know much about what the real Cheng Hak Song was like, but the Jin Yong version of him is an embarrassment to share a surname with, to be sure.

there is also Zheng Xie in the book and the sword (sorry i dont know the cantonese name), a Qing government official, also a real historical figure.
but he is just a minor character.

While Cheng Hak Song was by far, by far the worst of them, his uncles, brothers, and even grandfather (the great Koxinga himself) seemed overall to be a bunch of inglorious bastards. I'm...kind of embarrassed to share a surname with them.
