Where is Divine Dragon Island (DOMD)?

Where is the location of Divine Dragon Island in DOMD? Emperor K'ang Hsi sent Wai Siu Bo to Mt. Changbai (now known as Mt. Paektu) as a pretense for leading the naval assault on Divine Dragon Island. Mt. Changbai is located in Manchuria, near the modern day Chinese/North Korean border. That would likely put Divine Dragon Island either in the Yellow Sea or the Sea of Japan, but which one?

Additionally, what are the climate conditions on the island? It's too far north to be tropical, but it's typically not portrayed as a frozen wasteland either.

Wei Xiaobao started from beijing to Tianjing, joined with navy in tianjing, go out to sea from tianjing and going around the longer distance to liaodong area, and mobilize force at FengTian (Shenyang, Liaoning province) to wait opportunity to attack divine dragon island at liaodong bay.
so it should be yellow sea.
i checked google maps, there is no such island, so divine dragon island or shenlong is just a fiction island

This fictional island seemed quite snake-infested, as during Wai Siu Bo's first visit to the island, he was bitten by a venomous snake.
