Default Mid-Tier Matchups # 62: End-of-LOCH Gwok Jing (LOCH) vs. Tzor Lang Sim (SPW)

Today's matchup finds end-of-LOCH Gwok Jing (e.g. fought two Greats to 600 strokes at Second Mt. Hua Sword Tournament) vs. Tzor Lang Sim (SPW). How does this fight go?

Guo Jing will sweep Zuo Lengchan's butt. Using the dog beating stick to counter his sword and 18 dragon palms countering his cold palms.

GJ never learn Dog Beating Skill but I agree he would beat ZLC after long duel at least 200+ stances..

Armed combat wise, GJ may struggle a bit since he has only learned a bit of sword skill from one of the seven freaks. Hand to hand combat wise he can beat ZLC any day. The dragon palm, left right palms and nine yin palm skills are far more superior than ZLC's palm skill.

I think ZLC more better with his hand/palm than his sword that's why he fought RWX "barehanded" in Shaolin..

Gwok Jing also learned some weapons skills from the 9 Yum Jen Ging, which he used to spar against West Poison Au Yeung Fung when the latter held him captive for several months late in LOCH.

Yeah though his skills in swordplay very shallow since JY said his swordmanship 70% for defense and only 30% for attack..

Must have been at least decent, though: not good enough to dominate wulin, but at least good enough to hold his own against a Great.

Yeah but still keep in mind that OYF though great he is not very proficient in swordmanship like HYS or WCY or his grandson YG so I doubt GJ can "handle" Jade Flute Sword or Quanzhen Sword from HYS and WCY..

Au Yeung Fung's Snake Staff Technique was quite formidable...about on par with North Beggar Hung 7 Gung's Dog Beating Stick Technique. I don't know if Au Yeung Fung used his Snake Staff during his sparring matches with Gwok Jing, though.

Only in theory OYF Snake Staff Skill > H7G Dog Beating Skill since they only fought in "theory" not in actual fight YG even admit in actual fight H7G might be win also we talk about GJ weaponry skill especially swordplay right which far below great-level even sub-great level fighters though is not mean his swordmanship not good at all it still good but I think can't compete with someone like HYS or ZLC IMHO..
