Default Jebe and Golden Wheel Monk

How many times have these characters been played by the same actor? Does this explain GWM's chokeability, because in his heart he didn't want to defeat his former student and saviour Guo Jing? And in the archer duel after Guo Jing had returned to the wall (with Yang Guo's help), does this mean Guo Jing has surpassed the Jebe Wheel Monk in archery skills?

Not only have these two characters frequently been portrayed by the same actor, but they are the only two characters to have won the title of "Best Warrior in the Mongol Empire" (I'm not sure if Mongke or Kublai ever officially awarded the title to the Golden Wheel Monk, though, considering that he failed the mission to capture or kill Gwok Jing).

Interesting theory. But I only remember this happening once in the 80's LOCH and ROCH. The 90's versions had different actors and 2003 ROCH and 2008 LOCH had the same actor playing GWM and Genghis Khan respectively. Now that would really drive the conspiracy nuts crazy, GWM and the Khan being the same person.

Both Jebes which eventually became Golden Wheel Monks spent a short sabbatical at the country of Tubuo, taking the name Jiu Mozhi and started their association with Wheels before returning to Mongolia and changing their Big Wheel title for a Golden Wheel. Somehow they recovered their martial arts along the way...

    Jebe and Golden Wheel Monk

Jebe is decent at martial art whereas GWM is among the elite even though he is only about 70%-80% as good as Gwok Jing. Even though Jebe is far inferior in martial art, he is a true warrior. On the other hand, GWM is just a coward.
