How do you feel about Abbot Xuanci in DGSD?

To be complete honest, I do find a decent fellow and a 'good guy'.

I think he's a fundamentally decent man, but he made some horrible mistakes along the way. Probably his most egregious error was trying to cover it up. The consequences of his cover ups were even worse than the original crimes. It was kind of like Watergate. Maybe this was Shaolingate.

You’re right on all those accounts. However, the cover up was done by friends of Xuanci as they owe him a debt and respect him. In edition 3, he made three attempts to allow Xiao Feng to take his life as to atone for his mistakes. I, personally, think that at least two of his crimes were Murong Bo’s fault.
