I didn't watch it at the theatre but I thought "Center Stage" sucked and "American Sweethearts".

Kung Pow - absolutely the worst American movie I've ever seen. Some parts were funny though.

Daredevil bored the heck out of me.

Titanic, Under The Tuscan Sun..... I hate all (except maybe one or two) romantic comedies.

    1. it's slow and long and unexciting
    2. the love story is corny ("i'll never let go?" i mean, COME ON! )
    3. leo is gay
    4. the only reason guys watch this over and over again it's because they want to see the drawing scene.
    5. it's not touching at all....i know it's supposed to make everyone cry, but i find it funny.

    ...
Hey james, you are right! Can't find 10 reasons to hate it!
Well...i'll just stick to 5 then...

Let me try adding another five:

    6. Don't like Leo
    7. Not enough tragedy portrayed as I expected
    8. after 5 minutes...I give up, I guess I can't name the reasons, but I still don't like the movie.
When I wake up in the morning I always remind myself to 'Seize the Day.'

Making a serious thought-provoking, critically-lauded and unconventional movie that is very unlike his usual comedies and cement his own status as a versatile, wondrous serious actor?

Jeez, why don't you peeps just give the main reason:

    TITANIC IS OVERRATED!

    and move along?

After all, this is a much effective answer.

I personally thought that it was fine (though OVERRATED). Not the romance, but when the ship was starting to sink, the band, the old couple, the mom telling the kids stories.

But then, I've (BELIEVE IT OR NOT?) only seen it once, back when I was 14.

I agree, I hated the movie for a good part of the 3 hours I was in the theater, only when it came to one of the ending shots (where the camera pans over all the pictures of Rose's life) did the movie move to something akin to "alright" for me. If not for that shot, the whole movie would have been an utter waste of my time. It's amazing how much of an effect that one 5 second shot had on my opinion of this 3~4 hour movie.

    didn't watch it.

couldn't bring myself to. 'cos it would very likely trigger the gag factor.

    and the theme song... *shudders*

Not a big fan of the theme song either, but other than that one song, the other tracks on the soundtrack was excellent. Hymn to the Sea and Southampton both come with my highest recommendations.
