True James.
I'm OK with signatures within 10-15 lines. But I do think there should be a restriction on the number of smilies in it.

Well.. I didn't really bother posting here.. but I will do since some fella with huge signature complaining about other folks huge signature.
I am fine with signature as long as it doesn't have many smiles in it. I do get annoyed by people who likes to complain for sake of complaint though.
Please email me with questions. Do not use PM here.
I suggest that there's a new policy to restrict the length of sig-lines ............ no more than five! It's so damn annoying to scroll through a long-*** sig-line just to read the subsequent post; also takes longer for the page to load too!

Well Cheek used to be frustrated but she don't bother anymore. Why complain when you can turn off users' signatures? Everyone has a choice. Pity I can't see my own now to block others.

I miss the funny sigs already!

I can't turn off sigs selectively. Which means that because of a few people who are unable to find something short and meaningful to put in their signatures, I will miss out on the many good ones.

i find those really long signatures to be really annoying. sometimes, a person with a really long signature will post like 3x on the same page, and i keep scrolling that i lose count as to where i am on the page. i don't get to read through everybody's comments b/c i don't have the patience to keep scrolling and scrolling.
there are some ppl out there who have really good quotes on their signatures that i like reading, which is why i haven't turned off the signatures display. i guess i'll have to go down that path now, and miss out on the good signatures.
the problem with this world is that everybody is a few drinks behind.
Hint: Put that person(s) on your Ignore List.

I'm against Long Signatures. A short simple one with a good or funny quote is good enough, people don't need to know who you're worshiping, and I don't want to see people advertise their poems.

Ha ha, that just makes me not want to change my signature since people get so annoyed.

*laughs* Goodness, anyone does that here I shall slap him/her silly!

Wow, that was a long signature...and to think that person used a big font to take up a lot of space too...Sometimes, when the signatures add up, it makes more scrolling and it does get fustrating, but these kind of things don't really bother me...
Do any of you have a mouse with the scroll in the middle..where you could click that (instead of scrolling it) it and there's an arrow for you for you to just scroll by making the arrow below the circle? I use that, when there are many things I don't need, and when I skim.
Today is the tommorow you worried about yesterday.

Ahhhhhhhhhh.......... That's crazy! *LOL* What a long *** sig... Well well... Lisa has been reformed My sig has shorten now...
Gosh this thread has been awhile... No 1 came up of how short/long sigs should be yet?
Nope, not yet--I would say less than 10 lines though. I'll write up some more explicit faqs for the next year in the future.Originally posted by misao ohgami
