Europe - France
North America - US
Asia - HK
USA, Lisa was born/raise in the USA... most movies that Lisa do watch are made in the USA.
too bad we can't choose two, i would of chose USA and HK
I can't stand typical Hokkywood movies, so I think 'typical' US movies are out for me.
I like Japanese horrors (am a fan of Ju On ), HK n China's wuxia movies, and of course, France's 9th art
I find movies from 'exotic' countries -Poland, Tibetan, Egypt,... to be fascinating as well.

Definitly the USA for me. I don't bother to separate typical Hollywood or independant movies, I don't care. The only thing that's important is if it's good or not. From all the movies from different countries I've seen since childhood, I'd say all of my favorite 10 movies are American productions. After the USA, Great Britain comes second. Among the big guns in the movie industry, I like France's movies the least.
I prefer HK movies.
Actually a lot of Korean movies since 2000 have been outstanding
i enjoy watching hk movies. especially those comedy genre.

Film and book reviews, short films, videos from a Malaysian filmmaker based in Tokyo
Would probably go with the USA coz more of the movies varied and the CGI used in some of the films are superb (yes, technology does matter). However, I find that HK stretches out in ideas, quite beyond my imagination. I also enjoy some of Iranian movies, even better than those from France.
When I wake up in the morning I always remind myself to 'Seize the Day.'
As long as the movie is good, I would definitely love watching it

USA - More importantly Hollywood... I don't think anyone can keep up with technology advance filming as them... and I do have a soft spot for HK films.
The up and coming is Korean film... so far the few I saw I have really enjoy.

Les Arts Martiaux!
"En Garde","Fleche Enflammee"!!
but is hard to find good movies unless you are trying different things... I mean most good foreign movies are thru word of mouth of oscar or film award selection.
Then again even some of those movies to me are crap

Japan.
Especially the quirky weird ones.
"The who having wha with huh?"
US makes the best movies
china/hk makes thes best series
japan or korea makes better scary movies
US cant make anymore scary movies its obvious to tell whats ganna happen and now they use horror/action together instead
im sorry but hk or china makes these immature and dumb movies its like i derno not my type i guess...back then i use to watch young and dangerous movies =] and things dealing with ekin and gangsters stuff now its like BLEH with SOME young generation actors
I'd say Korea. Korean cinema has improved by alot since 2000 and their CGI and special effects are pretty comparable to those in the US. Combined with their plots which I generally find more unique and interesting, it makes Korean entertainment very enjoyable.
