Hiya botan! Yes, I've finally graduated. Now I just need to pass Board exams so I can get licensed. How are things going on your end?

Interestingly, 金钱本色 also happens to be the Chinese title for the Paul Newman film "The Color of Money." Anyway, a bit more info on this currently filming ATV series. Ada and Julian will be playing lovers. Although Ada's character hates gambling, she becomes involved with The King of Gamblers (Norman Tsui)'s godson, played by Julian. To familiarize himself with the casino environment, Julian is currently training hard. I guess this means he didn't have much experience with gambling prior to taking on this role, which is actually a very good thing. Chapman To will also be in this series.

I also read somewhere that Julian will be making a TVB series sometime later this year or next year, but the exact project is yet to be determined. It looks like we'll have lots to look forward to from Julian in the near future. Jia you!

Congratulations and good luck on your Board exams! I'm finally done with my undergrad studies and will be graduating in August. I need to start looking for a job soon but I'm really lost on what I want to do.

Thanks for updating us on Julian's new series. Sounds like he's going to be pretty busy this year. I hope the TVB series he's planning for will be something interesting.

Revival of a sleeping thread it seems.... I have a question, three days ago I had found a site, I think it was on tripod network that had a full review as well as promotional & prodution pictures from the series he was in with Shui Ling (TWHM), sadly I can't find the site anymore Can someone help me out here? I'm tryin ot get as much information as I can of both the series and the actors in it. and since Julian is one of the cast members (he did a great job too!) I figure ask here and see what happens.

Hi botan! Long time no talk. You're way more up-to-date on Julian's news than I am. I looked it up and yep, he does have a series with Myolie currently in production. It's called 魚躍在花見の朝. I don't think there's an official English title yet. Myolie plays Julian's girlfriend and Tavia Yeung plays Julian's ex. Rounding out the main cast is Michael Tse, who plays a Japanese chef who is Julian's rival. Damian Lau is also in it.

Yeah, it seems like the show will be about food with the usual love triangle(s). After more than 5 years away from TVB, Julian will be returning as a fish seller. I'm doing well. I changed my mind about finding a full time job and I ended up finding a part time job, in addition to the one I already had, instead so that I could go back to school this fall quarter to take a few more prereq classes. But then the classes didn't work out for me anyways. So I'm going to be looking for a full time job again after this quarter is over. In the meantime, I'll just continue with the two part-time jobs that I have. How did your board exams go?

Hmm, the new series doesn't seem that interesting to me too and the cast doesn't appeal to me either. I was kind of hoping that he would either work with Ada Choi or Jessica Hsuan on his return to TVB. I am kind of disappointed. It's been such a long time since I've seen him in a series. Maybe I should just re-watch one of the old ones like Cold Blood Warm Heart or something.

I forgot to mention how surprised I was at seeing how skinny Myolie was in that youtube video. What happened? I don't remember her looking that skinny. I don't get this over dieting thing in HK.

By the way, Julian will be releasing a new+best selection CD on 11/30. I guess that is something to look forward to. I saw the cover on Yesasia and am not too fond of the new look with the mustache and beard. Sounds like he is doing a lot this year with the new drama and singing.
