Quanzhen sect - Big Dipper Formation

WYS struggled against Quanzhen sect with GJ's help using the Big Dipper Formation.

So with the right people, no weaknesses in the formation.

Could it defeat a Great ?

Also how smart was WCY? He invented the Big Dipper Formation, and even with WYS intelligence, he couldn't break it.

I think Wong Chung Yeung and Lam Chiu Ying were equally intelligent, but Wong Chung Yeung had a handicap in dealing with Lam Chiu Ying because he always played fair while Lam Chiu Ying had no qualms about *cheating*.

but Lin Chao Ying was capable of creating martial art to counter most of QZ's martial art except some in the internal energy. WCY couldn't even found away to counter them, and resorted to the 9 Yin

The funny thing is that WCY created the QZ's martial art which is pretty strong, and found away to counter Ha Mo Gong(even in inner wise) without actually learning Ha Mo Gong or knowing it. But he couldn't counter Anicent Tomb Sect's martial art.

But in a battle I bet WCY would win because I don't think Lin Chao Ying created a martial art to counter the Xian Tian Gong.

He really didn't need to. LCY's martial arts were "said" to be able to counter Quanzhen's martial arts but when they fought, LCY knew that she would definintely lose if WCY wanted to win. Hence she had to resort to that trick on the rock tablet to fool him.

But, it's also true that he was only able to break the Jade Heart Manual with the help of 9YZJ, whereas LCY invented the Jade Heart Manual by herself.

It was the combination of Xian Tian Gong and 1YZ that can counter Ha Mo Gong.

No, you need both Sin Teen Gung and 1 Yeung Finger Technique to guarantee success against Ha Mo Gung.

My interpretation of what were said in LOCH is that 1 Yang Zi can defeat Ha Mo Gong, however Yideng's inner power wasn't enough to guarantee victory against Ou Yang Feng, hence Wang Chong Yang taught him Xian Tian Gong ( which would be an inner energy cultivation art like 9 Yang, Yi Jin Jing etc.).

Wait, so is TSG also a black star against Toad Stance. I thought it's only to increase internal energy.

It is said that with the combination of Xian Tian Gong and 1YZ, it allowed 1D to heal HR. So I don't think it is an energy cultivation.
