    Reverend Rongku prepared himself.

Suddenly, he toss his hands and screamed: "I am not human! I am an animal!"

The crowd startled at such a bizarre beginning to the story.

I agree. Just as external martial arts favour certain body disposition, I believe that internal skills favour certain mentalities.

At their peak, I would say these three internal energy cultivations are equal. Nine Yin and Nine Yang are roughly equal in terms of internal cultivation. Guo Jing and Jueyuan possessed roughly the same amount of internal energy at the end of ROCH, and they were both around the same age (~50 years old). In HSDS, it was stated that at the pinnacle of both arts, Nine Yang and Shaolin martial arts are equal. I took this to mean that YJJ is roughly equal to Nine Yang. Overall, these three skills are equal from an internal energy cultivation perspective.

But the speed at which respective users progresses depend on their own affinity and luck. Their mentality matters. In DMSD, it was said that only those who trained the YJJ with the intention of solely improving their kung fu would not find progress, e.g. YTZ was only using it to keep himself alive from the frost-worm poison. Similarly, Guo Jing is simple-minded, taoist-based martial arts probably better suited for him than it is for Huang Rong.
