The origin of XYS's martial arts

I need some help to refresh my memory on this matter. In DGSD, XYS, MRB and XF were more or less on par. We know about the origin of MRB's and XF's martial arts, but how did XYS attain his martial arts? Who was his teacher?

Where did you get that idea? My impression was that Siu Yeun San's wife was an ordinary Khitan peasant woman. She had no martial arts skills whatsover. She was not even able to defend herself or her family when they were attacked at Ah Mun Gate.
