Cheung Chui San was definitely no match for Tse Tsun. Before and during their first days on Ice Fire Island, Cheung Chui San routinely got his butt handed to him by Tse Tsun, and Cheung and Yan So So never tried to fight their way out of Tse Tsun's custody when they were on the ship (sailing away from Mt. Wong Poon) because Cheung Chui San correctly guessed that even if he and Yan So So were to gang up on Tse Tsun, they couldn't beat him.

Sixteen-year old Yeung Gor would not do very well against Tse Tsun in a fair fight (at that point, he didn't have much other than a fragment of Ha Mo Gung and some incomplete Cheun Jen Sect/Ancient Tomb Sect training). Twenty-year old Yeung Gor (armed with the Heavy Iron Sword and much better skills than his sixteen-year old self), however, would probably have no problems against Tse Tsun.

It should be noted that there is quite a discrepancy in martial arts level among the Mo Dong 7 Heroes. Sung Yeun Kiu and Yu Lin Chou were clearly head and shoulders above their five juniors. Yu Doi Nam wasn't quite at their level, and his career as a martial artist came to a sudden and painful end. Cheung Chung Kai was probably at the same level as Yu Doi Nam. Cheung Chui San had the greatest potential and probably could have become the best fighter among the Mo Dong 7 Heroes, but his ten-year absence from China hindered his martial arts development. Yan Lei Ting and Mok Sing Guk were the weakest among the seven heroes, although Yan was an excellent swordsman and Mok was able to hold his own against White-Browed Eagle King Yan Teen Sing.

Frankly speaking, I think because of the aura Xie Xun brings, people are generally afraid of him. He is definitely an intelligent guy who is willing to go to extremes to learn powerful martial arts. Had he had proper guidance, I'm sure he could actually rival ZSF.
