I agree with Candide. It's so easy to say that Cheung Mo Gei was indecisive, but if you were in a situation where there were four people simultaneously in love with you, and you cared about each one of them, what would *you* do? There's no completely graceful way out of that kind of situation.

There wasn't, but would any of the four young women in question have been happy with that arrangement? If that were a viable solution, Cheung Mo Gei would have gone for it.
