    Default Wudang's 7th Hero's corpse

Was Muo Shenggu's corpse rotting when ZWJ and ZM found him? It must have been a while since his disappearance and death to the point when his martial brothers decide to leave Wudang to find him? And how did he died in Song Qingshu(and Chen Youliang)'s hand exactly, was it never described and only hinted at in the novel?

I remembered reading (in Indonesian translation) that his corpse suffered from some animal (wolf?) bite because of improper hiding place.

This point has bothered me too. Logically, there should have been very little of Mok Sing Guk for Cheung Mo Gei and Chiu Mun to find. Mok Sing Guk was killed by Sung Ching Sheu not long after the Ming Cult freed the members of the Six Orthodox Sects from Mongol custody in Dadu. All this happened *before* Cheung Mo Gei took his four girlfriends (Chiu Mun, Chow Chi Yerk, Yan Lei, Siu Chiu) to find Golden-Haired Lion King Tse Tsun and save Purple-Clothed Dragon King Dor Yee See (a.k.a. Granny Gold Flower) from being burned at the stake by the Persian Ming Cult. In the aftermath of the Persian incident, Cheung Mo Gei, Tse Tsun, and Chow Chi Yerk spent seven or eight months on an abandoned island before returning to China. If Mok Sing Guk's corpse had been exposed to the elements for that long, there would not have been much for Cheung Mo Gei and Chiu Mun to find.

Was his body placed in a cold area, so he's preserved enough to be recognized?

First, of all Song Qingshu was not caught in the act of raping Zhou Zhiruo. That was impossible, after the 6 orthodox schools were rescued by Zhang Wuji, the very next day really Zhou Zhiruo was already captured by Granny Goldenflower. It was impossible for Song Qingshu to even try to do anything to Zhou Zhiruo.
He was caught when he was playing a Peeping Tom. He was peeping at the sleeping quarters of the female E Mei disciples, and was caught by the seventh hero doing that.
Therefore, his death could have happened only a few weeks or a month ago.
Giving enough time for the other Wudang heroes to travel to the last know location of the seventh hero.

What?! Being a peeping tom is punishable by death in the Wudang School? Thats harsh. All I kno is that the 7th Hero was the most hot-tempered and straightforward of the brothers. But damn, Muo Shengguo must be really over-reacting........or maybe he just wanted to give Qingshu a beating instead of actually killing him.

I assume you got Athena's meaning wrong. By 'Therefore, his death could have happened only a few weeks or a month ago.', Athena meant Mo Shenggu, not Song Qingshu. We all know that Song Qingshu didn't, and couldn't die at that time.

Playing peeping tom isn't punishable by death in Wudang btw. The rules aren't that harsh and I don't think Zhang Sanfeng is the type of person who rules by such iron-fists 'laws'.

However, it's sure that a scuffle did happened between Song Qingshu and Mo Shenggu after the former gets caught and the result was Mo Shenggu's death.

Yeah that's what I understood too. I don't kno what u misunderstood what I think you think I misunderstood. LOL

What I meant was that maybe Muo Shenggu wasn't really trying to kill him but to just give him a good beating then capture him back to Wudang.

I thought Wudang was really harsh not becoz of Z3F but becoz of his disciples' discipline. Muo Shenggu was the most hot-headed and rash of the brothers and the most straightforward, when he saw that of course he would get enraged and punish Qingshu.

    Oh sorry. I guess I couldn't tell.

Nobody's talking about death punishment and from your statement, it's clear that you are talking about Song Qingshu, not Mo Shenggu. Athena did not mention anything about punishment or deaths except for the fact that Mo Shenggu died.

The message you had conveyed out in your previous post was: Mo Shenggu wanted to kill Song Qingshu just because he was playing peepingtom?! That's harsh. Mo Shenggu is really over-reacting. Maybe he meant to beat Song Qingshu up instead of actually killing him.

I think what SkineePanda meant was: Mo Shenggu did not wanted to kill Song Qingshu, so it wasn't really neccessary for Song to kill Mo out of self-defence.

He spoke NOTHING of MSG's death in his previous post which only hinted that MSG wanted to kill SQS.

    -Dissecting StupidPanda's Post-

1st line::"What?! Being a peeping tom is punishable by death in the Wudang School? Thats harsh."

Meaning: Trying to kill Song Qingshu for pornographic activities might be too severe.

2nd line:"All I kno is that the 7th Hero was the most hot-tempered and straightforward of the brothers."

Meaning: Of the 7 brothers, Muo is the most likely to be enraged and go berserk seeing his nephew in the act. And straightforward, meaning he would be the most direct with the punishment.

3rd line: "But damn, Muo Shengguo must be really over-reacting........or maybe he just wanted to give Qingshu a beating instead of actually killing him."

Meaning: Muo Shenguo must have been enraged but instead of actually trying to punish Song Qingshu by death, maybe his true intention was to simply give his nephew a good beating.

I'm sorry Guo Xiang for the confusion.

    You don't have to be sorry. No right and wrong when it comes to different interpretions of our own, I guess. o.o;

But I like the use of the word 'dissecting'.

I think Mo only wanted to give him a lesson/beating (according to the note he left behind), but Song had a quite good reason to kill Mo (although it's not a very well calculated one): if the news got out, he could kiss his future Wudang leadership goodbye. I'm not sure if it was on his mind when he did it, but it could be one reason... Having Chen Youliang there putting more oil into the fire -> we have a dead 7th Wudang hero.

No right and wrong when it comes to different interpretions of our own,
Nah I think I'm always right You are always right too, except when that crybaby Yang is around...
