QQJ and the 7 Freaks

Years ago, when QQJ was in his 30s, he fought to a draw with the 7 Freaks. Years later in LOCH,if we assume the Freaks did not die, were they still able to match to a draw with QQJ?

They were not really winning even with the help of that monk (I forget his name). So I'll say the 7 Freaks will still lose to QQJ years later.

It was Seven Freaks + Jiaomu roughly equals to Qiu Chuji.

I'm not so sure. At no point did QQJ fight all seven at the -same- time; there were always a few holding back, or injured in an earlier 2/3 vs 1 battle with him, etc. etc. etc. My gut feeling is that he couldn't have beat all 7 the first time around.

Is there any reason why QQJ after another 20 more years of Quan Zhen inner energy cultivation, something whose benefits increase with more years of cultivation, not able to beat the 7 freaks whom he beat years ago?

Of course they'll lose, they lost Zhang AhSheng, plus it was 7 Freaks plus Father Burnt Wood, so originally it was 8 against one. Years later it is 6 Freaks against one.

Nope, he became better than his teachers when he learnt 18 Dragon Subdueing Palms. Please note that Yang Kang, throughout the novel, could never beat any one of the Freaks.

At the stage when he hasn't learned HL18Palm, is there any area where GJ is better than his masters? i.e. inner energy, Qing Gong etc?

Or among the 7 freaks, is there any of them who would be weaker than GJ yet?

Probably both inner power and hing gung. None of the seven Freaks had the requisite inner power to use something like Hong Lung 18 Palms, and even when everyone was back in Mongolia, the Freaks had trouble keeping up with Gwok Jing after he had learned some hing gung from Ma Yuk.
