Default Was there a chance the SPW readers might anticipate this?

The first character that was known to have been castrated was Tin Ba Guong. It was only later after DFBB's appearance that explained the need for castration to learn the sunflower scripture. Then next revelation was that Ngok Pat Kuan and Lam Ping Gi had done that to themselves.

We all know that TBG never came across the pi xie sword style(Lin Yuan Tu's robe) but could there have been some plot anticipation from the readers that Tin Ba Guong might bump into the pi xie sword style sooner or later and have learned it since he had the "qualifications"?

Well, for TBG's case, the castration was definitely not from his own intention Anyway, I guess it is rather hard to anticipate that the castration is the key to learn the skills if one does not know it in advance while reading SOD.

Not at that early part yet before the DFBB chapter.
Maybe once the readers have reached the fighting part with DFBB or the part where Ngok Pat Kuan blinds Chor Lang Sim,they will immediately remember TBG.Since TBG is already castrated even not his own doing but he might stumble across the monk's robe with the pi xie skill and think "Since I'm already in such a condition, what the heck?Give it a go.No harm trying."

It's a possibility. Do you think he could be more powerful than YBQ if he did train the Evil-Resisting Sword Technique?
