To be honest, I know everything that happens in the storyline, but I don't know how and why those things happen, so it's still very, very fun and exciting for me to watch. With a drama, I avoid all spoilers, and certain comedies as well. But with VOH, I watch it more for the humor and entertainment than the plotline. Hehe. Besides, I can rewatch it many times and it's still as great as the first.

what happen to joey and that other guy? translate as year? i skip to the last esp and i didnt find him or her in there. i'm still at early 200s but i want to know what happen to those two

They didn't want to film for the series anymore because they're too busy and had other series to film, so they don't end up together. Their characters are left hanging without closure.

Yup No SURPRISE at all !!! Very Dissapointed like everybody else in forum.... Hope HK viewers will react fast to that. so they'll make something about it in the future or an extra ending episode or anything else that tell us what happen to Frankie and Bernice at least ....aiya ><... c'mon TVB ... how can they release such crappy very crappy ending to a 400+ episode sitcom ><; ...

Very unsatisfying. If the actors were busy and could not find the time to do the final episodes, at least mention something about that characters they play. Something like receiving a letter from Shanghai or England that Chris and Joey are engaged to be married. Anything.....But this is really disappointing, I mean they had about 440 episodes already. What would an extra 25 minutes really hurt?

Something like this happened in Virtues of Harmony 1 too, with that maid (Olivia, right?) Jimmy was in love with in the first 150 episodes. There was no mention of her at the end.

Interestingly, people at TVB's forum for VOH II are asking why the show isn't airing anymore and requested for a re-air of the finale and a third version/sequel. Seems like TVB didn't really promote the ending of VOH very much and that many people in HK missed it. It wasn't a good ending with the "grand" feeling that a long-running series should have with the whole family crowding around in the end.

Perhaps TVB is saving the Chris/Joey storyline for a spin-off series in the future. There's so much that they could do with it so I guess they didn't want to waste it by just saying that they ended up together at the end with a reference made by one of the characters.

The VOH ending was so disappointing!! no cutie, hawick, bernice or frankie... i wanted them to come back.. and not even a mention of what happened.. it was pretty rushed for a 400+ series i wanted more

The ending doesn't have Frankie, Bernice, and etc.... is because they are saving it up for the next VOH. VOHIII baby!

Virtues of Harmony 3 would be pushing it a bit too far in my opinion. But if they have Armed Reaction 1, 2, 3 and 4. Why not? But a spin-off Chris and Joey would be nice, but I fear the chances are slim of such a thing happening. I mean both are packed with new projects and such and by the time they have the time, most people would have moved on and forgotten about Chris and Joey. I just wish they would shoot an alternative ending, adding a few scenes just to give the audience closure.

The continuation doesn't have to be a long-running series. A 20-episode regular production would be fine. It'll only take around 2-3 months to film and I'm sure the cast can find time to fit that into their busy schedules. I really hope fans in HK will complain to TVB. I do agree, a third version would be too much because they are just remaking the series in another time period, but a short continuation would be great. Anyways, let's cross our fingers (but don't hold your breaths)!

just saw the part when frankie and bernice developed feelings for each other and almost got together. but frankie thought bernice was lau dan's mistress! as much as i find the parts very funny, i can't help but feel frustrated with the both of them! can't wait to see them get together! what episode will they both be lovers?
